my 1994 acquaintence, Ami Stanfield-Brown
after 12 years, i found my favorite club girl AGAIN!
this is so amazing, i was a definate aquaintence of this rock start type girl named Ami Brown. i thought i wouldn't see her again until heaven. but, much to my suprise, i found her on myspace! she'll probly block me at myspace, but she may have more nerve now at 30yrs compared to 19yrs.
last time i saw her was in '94 and she currently lives 1,400 miles away (22hr drive) from me. she may read the quarterly message i send her or she doesn't. anyways, it is nice to check out her news updates and pics on her public profile.
i once, emphasis "once", asked her if i could photograph her. she asked what to wear. i suggested "a swimsuit?" she let out a scream that echoed off the walls of the club. i wondered whether i was about to be kicked out of the club. scared me stiff, i don't think i moved anything for 5 minutes straight as i waited for a club bouncer to remove me from the premisis. but the bouncer never appeared. it was a spring break type club named "Zuma Beach" and all the girls wore bikini's while they served beers.
apparently, heaven can wait.
Just so you know, for the record, I introduced Ami Brown to the internet back in 1994. Looks like she's down with the internet now after her newbie friends got her on MySpace. Hey, 10 years late is better than never, Ami, welcome to my world.
revlon gave me a price quote to photograph one of their models, a brazilian named Luciana Curtis. the fee was $10,000 per day.
