nVIDIA to announce 9800 GTX within 30 days
nVIDIA will be announcing their high-end graphics card replacement within 30 days.
The much anticipated 9800 GTX. The naming convention may not follow the previous standard, but it will be the replacement for the high-end 8800 GTX Ultra's. Rumored to have 1.5GB of DDR4 on a single video card.
This is logged so that you know I, Riddick51PB, was the first on the internet to lay this out.

The reasoning:
- eVGA Moderators have not responded to your inquiries on availability. This is because eVGA Vice-President of Marketing has communicated to them not to.
- Stock of current technology is always depleted so that the new products will sell. You won't be able to buy 8800 GTX Ultra for a reduced price, because none are available.
- Notice that where you actually can find an 8800 GTX for sale, there is always a rebate available with it. This is to get people to buy the few remaining in stock.
- Want an example? The Nikon D300 was announced for sale on 23-August-2007. It replaced the Nikon D200. Go look for a brand new D200 now. Look anywhere. You can't find one. That's because they're selling the brand new replacement model: The Nikon D300. And yes, i have one of those arriving tomorrow (27-November).
